An SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) is a service that connects a company's PBX to the existing telephone system infrastructure (PSTN) via Internet using the SIP VoIP standard.

 

Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) is a general term for a family of transmission technologies for delivery of voice communications over IP networks such as the Internet or other packet-switched networks.

PRI (Primary Rate Interface) is a type of ISDN connection that is used for connections such as that between a PBX and a telephone company.
