Solarus has invested in a new voice mail system that can deliver a more advanced set of voice messaging features.

Our voice mail guarantees that you won’t miss a call—if you are away from home, on the phone, or just don’t feel like answering right now.

How Will This Affect Me?
Customers in Wisconsin Rapids With Land Line Telephone

Beginning August 3, 2010 your new voice mailbox was activated and your old box became unavailable.


Customers Outside of Wisconsin Rapids With Digital Telephone

On November 12, 2009 your new voice mailbox will be activated and your old box will be unavailable.

What Will Change?

You will need to dial the voice mail administration number for the type of telephone you have and record a new mailbox greeting. Please refer to the User Guide to the right for instructions to change your password, record your greeting, check messages and access your voice mail online. Initially, your password to access voice mail will be 0000 (4 zeroes). The system will require you to change your password during initial log-in.

What will remain the same?

As before you will continue to get the same great features from your voice mail service and Solarus can now offer additional features to help you stay connected in exciting new ways!

What Additional Features Are Available?
  • E-forward – Voice mail messages can be sent to your email address.
  • Pager or Phone Notification – You can be alerted when important messages are left.
  • Message Forwarding – Forward messages to other voice mail customers.
  • Web Portal – Access your phone records and voice mail messages online! Voice mail can be sent to your email address.
